Proud of Myself. The Sun Was Out so I Went to the Silvers, Despite the Temperature, for a Lil' Superbowl Action

Elsa looked good, too. Kathy finally talked Michael into allowing her to have her Frenchie, who she dressed up in a Patriots jersey. I bought Michael a bottle of New Riff, and Ethan a pack of lottery tickets for making it through the police academy and beginning his service to the City of Bridgeport.

Kathy set the home up with the joys of celebratory football foot: wings, quac, shrimp, stromboli, chili, cornbread, fruit, and deserts. It's nights like this I wish the boys were still on Mt. Pleasant, especially Chitunga who lives for Patriots play (good to see them back in championship play....Michael reminded me it's been a bit, but to mee the Patriots are always in the Superbowl. 

Today, I'm reading at a MLK teach-in, followed by an afternoon of meetings, and an evening of teaching. The temperatures will slowly climb this week which is good. It's a busy, busy two weeks ahead with a lot of K-12 school responsbilities.

Phew. I'm just glad I accomplished all my Sunday goals so I could take time in the evening to enjoy the game play, commercials, and spectacle of it all. 

I see you, Monday. We got this.
