And Then the Pelican Arrived. Looking Forward to Debuting Animal Friends T-Shirts All October (Yes, I Want a Couple More)

I have a frog, otter, dragonfly, and fox. The pelican arrived yesterday. It was a beautiful day so I worked from home, caught up on student work, planned more for tomorrow, worked on CWP materials, and had a refreshing walk with Karal. I also meal-prepped, because I spent the weekend working and never got around to it. I did a goulash with cavatappi pasta, with sausage, beef, onions, mushrooms, and peppers. I will be eating it all week.

I also got on my hands and knees and harvested all the 4'oclock and cosmos seeds that I could find and take. I like to spread them around to new locations each year, and share with neighbors. Afterwards, I finally got to the bushes out back.

It's back to back today, but I enjoy my students and love teaching, so it's one of my better days.

I brought apple dumplings to Leo, Bev, and Pam, and a tub of vanilla ice cream. I feel like I hit the lottery finding these dumplings down the street. They're seasoned perfectly and it simply tastes like Fall.

The Kentucky/Florida Women's Volleyball match up on Sunday night was amazing. Good to see Florida move up in the rankings. With their win, I can say the teams were very evenly matched. They both played really good volleyball.

And the temperatures have dropped. It all came so quickly.
