That's the Problem with Summer. It's Simply Too Easy to Hop on the Grill and Find a Way to Gather with Others.

I had grandiose plans for being a loner on Sunday, which I did until later afternoon when I was hungry and I hinted I want people to take me out to eat. Alas, I already went to the store and I bought steaks and shrimp, figuring I was going to be cooking for others, which is exactly what happened. A remake of Saturday night, but with dogs, too.

I know we are all prepping for a ridiculous heat wave ahead, and I think it is because I know what they're like that I hate when they are predicted once again. They require me to be proactive in the early a.m., before it heats too much. Better this week than next week.

Canada had a great game against S. Africa, and they were good to score in the last minutes.

Also a fantastic moon last night, with the fuller version ready for tonight. If you can see it, there's a sherbet hue to it that is quite nice.

Today begins planning meeting with summer teacher and a dossier review for someone at another university. I also have to unpack books that are in my car, garage, and all over my house. They seem to come from all directions now.

Rolling my eyes that it is a Monday again...this one leading to July 4th weekend. I will be indoors, thank you....I prefer non-heat waves.
