You can count on one hand the number of times my father has been brought out of the house to make a purchase for himself. The issue for him has been getting the legs down on the non-electronic, self-propelled lounge chair that has been central to his life since moving next door to my mom on the 2nd floor (much to her chagrin). We shall how well he does with his new toy before, perhaps, talking mom into a better seat for herself (which should happen, because she sleeps there over night, too).
Groceries have been bought for more elaborate meals this week, although the fish & pirogies weren't horrendous. We also had chicken and Mac&Cheese from Connecticut that I brought to finish up.
Loved the highlight real of Jimmy Marley taking Stephanie Caroli on a motorcycle bucket list that Peter Boy posted on Facebook. Who'd of ever guessed that from childhood? Maybe Mimi Sue will be next.
The furniture will arrive on Tuesday and I'm prepared for the chaos that will likely ensue. Hoping it is successful, and a transition that doesn't cause too many high blood pressure readings.
And just in case you're wondering....Tuesday's garbage pick-up was put out last night in case they decide to come three days early.
May the Lord be with you.
