After Work Mini-Renunion Party (& Throwback) at Walnut Creamery in Milford. A Wonderful 15 It's Been.

Wednesday was productive at CWP: from the writing, to the workshops, to the games, to the humor, to working through first drafts. Emily and her son, Theo, had a date with Walnut Creamery. Tebben joined us and I was like, "Holy 2014, Batman." They were students of CWP, became workers of CWP, and one of them now teaches For CWP in the summers. It's wild. So much life happens when you get older, and I feel as if I freeze my students at the age of when I had them.

And there's Theo, of course, who will one day be a student of our labs. Crazy train.

Karal and I got a long evening walk in, and I mowed the lawn in anticipation of three days of rain ahead.

I think it is because the stories are just too wild to actually believe, but they're all true stories. I recommend it. It's very alluring.

Also got to see Jessica at a campus event. Although she no longer teaches for CWP, her fingerprints are on everything we do. It always brings it back to how time flies as fast as it does. It weirds me out at times.

Day 4, Week One today. Inhale. Exhale.
